At first glance it may seem that this is just a sequel to the HoM necessary if but unlike this saga (whose tie-in was an excuse to sell because the series itself is self-contained) the impact became difficult to track all mutants title obviously would be affected and the Avengers would not be clean. Doubt that had the reader should be resolved or at least all they wanted to be by the editors.

Deadly Genesis is a plot point that just comes from the HoM but it is certainly dark and has a sense of loss. I will talk about the other time.
198 is the political impact of the conflict. While ONE Sentinel gives us the point of humans, the mutants appear here beyond the big names. Y reason is that Kitty Pryde was angry ... that to gather all the mutants survivors for their safety and militia surround sounded remotely familiar.
198 not only comes from that series called District X was a police drama-political-mutant but is the explanation for the entire span of War X-men so that when this war bow and we get understand some good points but ... you know where to turn. Finally
Generation M is the side that everyone seems to forget (except of course X-Factor) although all sworn to protect and that is that What's the fun in mutants that are no longer the most? Chronologically the first series where DM is basically ONE Sentinel explains how to join the team of Sentinels we will see next month in the mutant mansion national publication. The Day After narrating the events following the HoM 8 and begins to give more figures of losses.
